Dr. Scott Anderson received his undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University, medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, and completed his internship and residency at the Eastern Virginia Medical School.

Dr. Anderson is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a Fellow, American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, Member - American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Member - Florida Society of Otolaryngology, Member - Florida Medical Association and on the Executive Council, Hillsborough County Medical Association.

He has received the following awards and honors:

• Golden Key Honor Society, 1999
• Mayo Clinic Medicine Scholarship, 2002
• 1st Place Clinical Research, Virginia Society of Otolaryngology, 2007
• Temporal Bone Dissection Award, 2007
