Dr. Slack received his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine with honors (Alpha Omega Alpha selection), and subsequently completed his Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery Residency at the University of Colorado where he served as the resident selectee for the Risk Management Board for the University of Colorado Hospital Healthcare System. Dr. Slack is triple boarded with board certification in the following disciplines:

• Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
• Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery
• Sleep Medicine

Dr. Slack performs the full complement of ENT procedures including pediatric airway, balloon sinus procedures, endoscopic sinus surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, obstructive sleep apnea management, head and neck cancer, and balance and hearing disorders.

Dr. Slack specializes in aesthetic enhancement of the face. He utilizes the latest endoscopic techniques, focusing on minimal incisions, wound healing aids and the use of multiple modalities to achieve the most natural cosmetic improvements.

He is an experienced surgeon with BOTOX® Cosmetic, cosmetic facial fillers and laser treatments, and performs skin cancer excisions and reconstructions with a pathologist on site. His cosmetic website is located at drcslack.com.

Dr. Slack was on staff as a teaching professor in the Departments of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, General Surgery and Oral - Maxillofacial Surgery at David Grant Medical Center, United States Air Force. Dr. Slack continues to teach as an assistant clinical professor for the Florida State University (FSU) School of Medicine. He has a number of professional affiliations. He is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Slack is the Medical Director for Treasure Coast Sleep Disorders with locations in Stuart and Port St Lucie, FL.
