If you have chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) but surgery isn’t for you, consider participating in the ENLIGHTEN II clinical research study, which is evaluating an investigational product as a potential new therapy for CRS.

astellas logoThe ENLIGHTEN II study will explore whether the study product can safely improve CRS symptoms. The study product is a small, flexible mesh that fits inside your nasal passages, where it slowly releases a medication called mometasone furoate (MF). MF is an approved corticosteroid commonly used to reduce swelling.

You may be eligible if you are at least 18 years old, have CRS, and have not responded to at least 2 previous CRS therapies. Other study requirements apply.

Participants receive at no cost:

  • A 2 in 3 chance of receiving the study product for about 5 months
  • Regular monitoring of your CRS symptoms
  • Study lab tests and support from a healthcare team
  • Education about CRS
  • The opportunity to help advance CRS research
  • Reimbursement for time and effort related to the study
